Lottie Moon Offering
Each year in December, we support the International Mission Board (IMB) Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Members should use the special offering envelope in their annual envelope box to designate their funds to the Lottie Moon Offering. You may also use one of the special envelopes available at the church or simply write "Lottie Moon" as the memo on your check.
As the IMB website indicates: "Well more than 100 years ago, a single missionary named Lottie Moon, while serving in China, began writing letters challenging the American church to send and support more workers to go there. After her death on the field, her challenge was heeded in the formalization of an offering in her name. Even if you’re not a Southern Baptist who has given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, her life is a reminder of why we must give to send and support missionaries serving among unreached peoples in unreached places." |

Why Give?

"Well I think they ought to give their money to Lottie Moon to spread the gospel so everybody will have the opportunity to hear the Word and be saved. And our missionaries have dedicated their lives for that purpose and we should help support their needs. And that's what the money is for — to see that they're supplied."
